Hello friends, today I thought I would share the result of twenty-five years of reading. I began reading monthly Star Trek novels in middle school, and from there progressed to any science fiction book I could find.
Though the Golden Age of science fiction has passed, the advance of technology has provided authors with a unique opportunity: they can just publish their novels themselves, instead of having to go through a company. The result is that while physical stores are full of Harlequin romances, the market for science fiction books is doing better than it ever has, thanks to sites like amazon and smashwords.
Because of this, I feel that any science fiction collection will be incomplete, perhaps woefully so. Some books have gone out of print. Some have not been digitized. Some have been forgotten entirely. Some books, though published, remain unknown. The best I've been able to do has been to collect as many books as I could.
This collection also includes the very first science fiction book ever written- in 1611.
Hopefully you will enjoy these books as much as I have. :)
